I've found an old memory card from a phone that no longer works and I know there are photos saved on it but don't know how to get them off. It's slightly too small to go in my sd card reader, it says on the front:
sandisk memory stick pro duo
1.0GB magicgate

I've googled and looked on ebay for a card reader but the only ones are from US and are more expensive than I want to pay seeing as I don't know what's on the card!

How can I get them off and onto my PC?

it's a sony memory stick pro duo

Most multi card readers will read it fine... such as

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sitecom-009-Mini-Card- Reader/dp/B000JGG6X0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=elec tronics&qid=1236260612&sr=1-1

or one from somewhere like your local tesco probably would be less than 5

I'm sure you're right as it came from a sony ericsson phone as far as I know. Thanks for your reply, I'll order that one and hopefully that'll work!
Roughly what physical size is the card?

They are available in several different physical sizes, so you may need an adapter to convert it to the correct size too?
Trish, thats for a SD card, not a sony memory stick
Question Author
It's about 2cm by 3cm, slightly smaller than my sd card from my camera
