what is it with you women nessie started spring cleaning today dont know why as everthing seemed to be fine to get out of her way i went out and cut the grass

Hi Danes -good to see you albeit it briefly as I have to shoot.

It was cold today -we have had such mild weather lately i took bad.

I dont feel like Nessie -I dont do spring cleaning -although I must admit I want to clear the garden up -havent had a chance this weekend as my son was up from Edinburgh -but might get stuck in during the week and get some pansies potted to cheer the place up a bit.

great to hear from you dris pity you hadnt told me you were going into ninewells i could have paid you a visit and brought some black grapes glad to hear everything went well for you will have a natter later

when the sun comes out you feel as though you have to do something to celebrate the end of winter garden cleaning whatever

not only that but i had to wash the greenhouse out then wash the car will be glad when summer comes as i will be out with the dog a lot

Hi both. Was hoping to get to a garden centre at Chapel-en-le-Frith today, but never made it. Two old bushes've been dug up, and I'm not sure what to plant in their place. I'm another one who doesn't do spring cleaning, but every now and again I get this urge to change things round, but within a few weeks it goes back to how it was! : )

i have taken out an old apple tree mrs wants a plum tree in its place i have pointed out to her that plums bring the wasps and it is not a good idea guess who will win

Now it's funny you should say that, because I planted a Victoria plum tree about 4 years ago. The first 2 years - no fruit, but the blossom was very pretty. Last year..6, whole, complete plums - lol! I was dreading te wasps because I'm allergic to their stings, but before I saw any, the squirrels took them!!
