Digivideo Tapes vs HDD

My Digivideo camera has just been condemned as 'uneconomic to repair' and the insurance company have offered a replacement in the form of a HDD Digital Video Camera.
I have many tapes with irreplacable images. Do you know of a device that wil allow me to view or copy Digivideo tapes which I can play on my PC or television or do I need to buy another Camera to play them..
