oven problem

hi, i have a de dietrich range.dcm390ex1 cooker.3 months ago while i was using the oven it tripped the electric.de dietrich send an engineer on 2 occasions.one said is the fan elelment the other said no.they were going to charge me �280. i ordered the elelment on line and replaced it myself.now it does not trip the electric but after 15-20 min the oven goes off including the timer indicater.within 10 min is back on again. i suspect it may be the thrmostat,could you help me please?

sounds to me that if the timer is going off as well then some sort of safety thermostat is operating and cutting the electrics off then it must reset itself as the oven cools, so yes i would suspect a faulty thermostat.
