Dvd Burning

I am trying to burn a movie that is on my PC so I can watch it on my DVD player. My PC says its fine but when I put the disc into my DVD player it says unsuported. Any ideas?

If it`san avi/divx file, you need to convert the file before burning it to dvd.

Check your DVD players manual to see what formats it will play and make sure you have the film in a supported format.

How do I convert it? I am not great with computers.

Or you could try sothinkmoviedvdmaker, a free one, (not a trial.) If you use a trial, you get a watermark right through the film.
