I appear outgoing, confident and sociable and quite outspoken, but I hate any form of confrontation on a personal or social level. Mind you, I don't hate it enough to back down. Most people who know me also think I a mildly eccentric. Whereas I think I am just an antisocial cow.

Depends really, I don't like noise and night clubs so I'm quite quiet in these places, but sit me down for dinner and I'll talk and listen for hours.
That's the one thing I envy about European/mediterranean culture is that food rather than drink form the integral part of a celebration.
