About 10 years ago there was an animated children's programme about a caveman. It was "stop go" animation rather than a cartoon, and I can't remember anything else about it, apart from the characters didn't speak, the story was narrated. We had one episode on an old video, which my children watched so much the tape wore out. It's not Captain Caveman or Stig of the Dump - can anyone remember what it was called?

well it fits all the criteria perfectly, but that wasn't it! The one I'm thinking of was aimed more at very young children. Thanks anyway Mortartube

kags,
I'm pretty certain that the program in question is called 'Hairy Jeremy'.
Do a search for it on Google.

... hmmm, seems my reply went off of the screen.

I think the program you're after is called 'Hairy Jeremy'.
