Many thanks Rojash, VHG, AC and Ethel for your advice re the fitting of a larger HD.
My laptop is a medion 95924 just under 2.5 years old. When purchased in Nov 06 it had only been on the market a couplle of weeks and I bought it on the recomdation of ComputorActive and it has/is first class for what I need and I would hate having to learn a new OS like Vista
I did watch PC World put a larger memory in earlier so I am sure I could do it myselfl also the HD.
I cannot get on with the external HD it seems to complicated for my limited knowledge that is why I just want to press save, and it is there, no more action from me.
I Noticed in PCW a video size box to transfer all imformation from one HD to another, I think it was 24 so I will look into that. Once again Many thanks

:) My medion desktop is 6 or 7 years old - not a moment's trouble. I have increased the RAM (30) and spent 4 on an ethernet card and it is still used every day.

Good luck!
