How does the digestive system treat ice cream, as a solid or as a liquid?

By the time it gets to your stomach it will be melted, so therefore, in liquid form.

O.K. But perhaps I should have asked the question in a different way, how does the body excrete (please forgive me for that) ice cream etc.  No1s or No 2s?

This is a genuine question!

Just as with any food,  the water content is extracted and excreted via the kidneys in the urine.... and the food solids.... ie.. the fat, protein and carbohydrates are digested and metabolised.  Anything left over then comes out in your 'numbers twos'!!
