My friend told me to pull my boss to get a raise because thats what she did

I personally don't think this is a good idea. But your boss... by the sounds of him... may think otherwise?!

im sure he'll be easier to pull if you set up a few ropes and pulleys to ease the weight. The more pulleys and ropes and frames, the higher the raise.
