does anybody know any more news on these bank charges they are taking there time to sort it out...

In November last year, the Court of Appeal hearing ended - they will take some months for the judges to announce their decision.
This will determine whether the banks contracts are subject to the same fairness rules re terms and conditions as other contracts

In the meantime the Office of Fair Trading has to rule on whether the banks charges are fair.

So, even if the Courts says yes, the banks contracts must be fair according to the Unfair Contract Terms Act there is nothing to say that the terms and conditions ARE unfair.

The OFT could decide they are unfair, and the Court of Appeal decide the banks are subject to UCTA.

It's a long way off yet
