I know it may be the wrong section...BUT..for someone who has never seen SCD and never likely to....can anyone of a sane explanation for the following:
Three couples in the final, 2 couples dance perfectly and get top marks, the third couple stumble do not get top marks and guess who wins...........yepp the 3rd couple.
Explanation on a post card to sqad Butlin's Holiday Camp Dancing Instructor.

The trouble is the public vote often more on a popularity vote than as to who is the best dancer and some of the worse dancers are often kept in for weeks over good dancers who get chucked out. Entertainment value I guess.
It's happened in past series' with Spencer from Eastenders, Fiona Phillips and, in this series, John Sergeant, who ended up quitting the show as good dancers were leaving before him.
Saying that though, the great dancers always run through in past series so justice was pretty much done in the end.
More contraversial here is that there were three couples in the final as Tom techinically should have gone last week until they realised that because of the numbers, there was no way he could get enough votes to get through to the final so any votes for him would be wasted.
So they put all three couples through.
