It is a spice mixture blended with water, oil or vinegar for use as a base for curries. These pastes can be purchased from supermarkets or Asian shops or for best results...make your own.

Lucy, you must be a vicious person. This has been quite an innocent question as I've never run across a recipe here in US that calls for curry paste.

Hi usa lady,miss thomas is known for her retorts,be careful about your spelling and grammar,she will try and make you feel inadequate very easily!!!
