I recently received an e-mail from somebody saying "i'm a dead man" and i should "sleep with one eye open"... They sent another e-mail a few days after saying "there may be trouble ahead"..
In the eyes of the law, are these death threats???
If so would there be any point in contacting the police??
p.s I have the authers e-mail address and full name.
Many Thanks.

If you can print the headers of the emails then this will show where the email originated from regardless of whether the sender has used a false name and throwaway email account.
