Personally I think its a rip-off. I've got the same model ( with a lower mileage) And it is so reliable that I would rather save the money and spend it on good maintenance. If you take out the warranty you are tied in to a specific service schedule - and possible main dealer- which would result in more high costs.

I change my oil and filter every six months (Max) and get Kwik-Fit to check my brakes tyres etc free of charge. Other maintenance, fluid levels, wiper blades, etc are simple. Your cam belt should be coming up for renewal (80k or 5 years is recommended by most garages for this model) and will cost 160-180.

Good luck.

It really depends on what is being covered, some of these look good but have too many exclusions. Far better I would have thought, is to find a good garage charging reasonable rates and stick with them, at least for the more difficult jobs and as a regular customer they should look after you.
I would avoid car warranties at all costs. We've had a few over the years, and I think every time we've had a problem, they've managed to find some 'get out' clause which means its not covered.
You'd be much better off saving the money, and spending it at a good garage having regular servicing etc.
