Morning. i have just come to work and i noticed my temp gauge was nearly at the red mark by the time i got here.
Its only a 10 min journey.
Any ideas what could be up ?

check that water is upto the correct level if it isn't check for leaks,if it is then run the engine & make sure the cooling fan on the radiator is cutting in a bit before it gets to red this should take aprox 15mins when the car is stationary, sounds a bit strange how it is getting so hot so quick especially when the car is moving the natural air flow through the raditor should cool it,i hope its not the headgasket.if the fan isn't working get it checked out.

Hmmm, looks like my radiator is leaking :(
There was no water in the water thing and when i filled it up it emptied within a minute :(
took it to a garage now. hopefully it wont be expensive.
Cheers anyway...
Hi, just a tip on your Rad, how old is the car? if the car is not that old contact the dealers you may get it replaced FOC as did my wifes 307, that had a sudden loss of water rad fault changed FOC.
