A piece of Christmas cake, with a mince pie on the side and a double helping of black forest gateaux....please...
with cream.

Don't you know it is rude to mention the "C" word on a family site?
The 'c' word being......cake?

;-)
Marzipan! Christmas cake, especially the marzipan. Marzipan fruits, Dates with marzipan. Marzipan in any form really!
Brandy sauce.....always extra for me.

poohshunny, do you buy marzipan by the block and eat by urself, with nuts? My weakness!
Hi terambulan. I've lost 2 and a half stone this year. I have been very careful what I've been eating, but I'll definately be doing as you suggest. Bring on the marzipan! If you can't have a treat at Christmas, when can you?
Well done on losing the weight! That's great....
and if you can't have a little treat at Christmas, then when can you have one. You deserve a treat after that achievement.

:-)
Thanks daniela31. I've still got a way to go, but as they say "slow and steady wins the race".
I don't mean to sound personal, but I don't know anybody who has lost a lot of weight before, but do you 'feel 'different? like fitter or healthier?

you don't have to answer if you don't want, but it's not something people usually say is it?....sorry..

:-)
I feel healthier. Not carrying so much weight has lowered my blood pressure a bit. I take the stairs instead of a lift where possible and don't get quite as breathless as I used to. I feel that, on the whole, I have more energy. I can have fun buying clothes 2 or sometimes even 3 sizes (depending on the shop) smaller than I was. Felling better about myself has boosted my self confidece. Best thing I could have done!
Thanks for that answer. :-) I was just curious I suppose. Not many get to talk of their successes. If it is making you feel better about yourself, as well as you looking better then it's a bonus isn't it?

Well done again.
:-)
