Hi There

Although im not an expert i can sympathise. I had the same feeling although what seems to be very between me and you is the fact that you obviously work very hard and that probablt wont help!

Having a little one to cotend with also helps with stress etc - again i have a 4 year old and being 32 weeks pregnant myself i know how you feel.

Unfortuntaly being pregnant isnt the most sociable vocation so get used to it - i have missed my social alot (im 27) and for the past 'forever' have found it hard not being able to keep up with friends and whether they like it or not friends tend to 'slope' off because your pregnant!!!! hello im not an alien.....

The only thing i would suggest is; have you been tested for iron??? I have been constantly low on iron and this has ALOT to answer for. Being low in iron can make you feel very low, tired and anxious so it may just be a case of takign some iron tablets???? Im not a doctor though so check it out.

Good luck

No wonder you are knackered, it sounds like nothing but work.
On a practical level, have you checked with your GP to see if you are anaemic?
Would slower release carbs such as fruit, wholegrains, beans and pulses help regulate your energy levels?
Have a word with your midwife, she may have lots more suggestions, plus reassurance.

thanks guys, i will check with the doctor about a few things!!!

i used to like taking my daughter out for walks and little things like that but not got the energy :O(

the first trimester is knackering and with a second baby you do notice it more because with your first you could rest when you wanted.

Social lives do go out of the window in those early months because all most women want to do is sleep, even those who arent aneamic. Your body is working hard to create a new life and it takes it toll.

Wait a few weeks (try the slow release carbs as mentioned) and see if you start to feel better and have more energy.
