adding tracks

I have ripped a music CD onto my computer and want to add tracks. Will Windows Media Player do this? If not, what will????

What a strange question - if you want to rip more tracks, just use whatever you used previously.

sorry! start again! I have a CD (of my own music) - lots of different movements, but there are no tracks, just one continuous piece. I have ripped it to the computer, but I want to burn one section of it. I need to add tracks! Can I do this?

yes, but you will need to use audio editing software to split the single long track down at the points you want to and then reburn the CD.

Audacity will do it and it's free

this is all very well, fellas, - I have downloaded Audacity - now what the f*** do I do next????????????

open the music track using it, select the area of the track you want and then you can then either copy and paste or use "export selection" on the file menu to save the part you have selected as a new file/track

If you want to export to MP3 you will need to download the lame MP3 encoder but it will give instructions on where to get that from when you try and do it.
