well um cna u explain 2 me please how 2 make a square scoobie

fold 2 laces (say red and blue) in half to find centre point.  tie red lace around the centre of blue make sure knot is in centre of both red and blue laces.  Tie knot in middle of blue to hold it in place on top of red and pull tight. loop lace 1 over lace 2 loop lace 2 over lace 3 loop lace 3 over loop 4 and loop lace 4 through loop 1 from the top. carefully pull all laces tight until the knot is formed.  loop red laces across knot to make bunnies ears. pass blue lace through red bunnies ear. pull laces evenly to make next knot.  Repeat

That was very nice of you to explain that Peri.

hi anna

To make Round Scoubies: make a knot in the centre of 2 or at the end of 4 scoubies (depending on the length you want your final scoubie to be).

1. Spread out the 4 ends into a cross (one pointing forward, one backward, one left and one right).

2. Fold any one of them over an adjacent scoubie (eg: fold the left hand scoubie into a "L" shape so that the bottom of the "L" goes over the bottom scoubie).

3. Now take the scoubie lace that has another on top of it (in this case the bottom one) and move it over in the same way to the next scoubie along (the one on the right).

4. Do the same again with the newest scoubie to have a lace placed over it.

5. On the final "L" fold insert the lace into the gap between the first two scoubies.

6. Pull tight.

7. Repeat the process until your scoubie is finished.

To make Spiral Scoubies: Start in the usual way making the knot in the middle or the end depending on the length of scoubie you want. This type of scoubie has two strings running down the centre which do nothing. A significant amount will be left at the end. Try making two bits shorter if you knot 2 laces.

1. Take the two colours you want to see and move them to the outside of the scoubie. Take the two base colours (which you won't see very much of) and move them into the middle. (If you knot 4 scoubies at the end you might see that this is where you can increase or decrease the number of strands in the middle. 1, 2 or 3 is usually best, the smaller the number the tighter the spiral).

2. Lay out the scoubies so the ends come down like this-

3. take the left hand scoubie and fold it over the first two, and under the final string (the left hand lace should make an "L" shape)

4. Take the right hand scoubie and put it under the two centre strands and pull it through the hole you created between the left and centre strands.

5. Pull.

6. Repeat always using the LEFT hand scoubie to make a spiral.

** Switch all lefts to "right" and all rights to "left" to make the scoubie spiral in the other direction!**

go to http://freewebs.com/ultimatescoobies on it you'll find out alot of things how to make scoobies
The easiest scoubi dou to make is the Square stitch, but there are many others including ; Circle, Brick, Super Brick, Tornado, Wall, Spiral, Spiral Brick, Spiral Super Brick, Chinease Staircase, Butterfly, and Flat are just a few to mention, and then you can move on to more complicated patterns like Hearts, Keys, Fish, Cats, Horses, and People. The best site I have come across at explaining all of these and many more is www.boondoggleman.com , which is brilliant. There is also www.scoubidoucentral.com , which is very good too, and both of these are free of charge. I am currently making a site devoted to the usage of scoubies and other fantastic sites of where to purchase and make them, called www.matmice.com/home/scoubies . Happy Scoubie Douing !!!
Hello there, im just new to this scoobie stuff and i would love to know how to make an airoplane and a flower, is there any one that is able to help a fellow scoobie fan?
hey there, im new to this scoobie stuff and im inerested in making a plane and a flower is there anyone that has a patten that they could send me? i would love to hear from you thanks heaps.

you can make helicopters by making either a square or circular scoobie and doubling back on yourself half-way through. You will maybe need to turn the scoobie upside down and do two or three "stitches" before you pull to make sure it won't just fall into the 'correct' position. this could give you an insight into making an aeroplane. ie: make a flat scoobie and fit it through on of the gaps when you make a helicopter:scoobie. flowers can be made by either having 5 or 6 scoobies tightly tied together at one end to make a basic petal shape. making one long green scoobie (with a flat scoobie set of wings stitched into it) and tying it to 5 red or pink scoobies with a yellow string will probably give the impression of a flower.

if you want "3d" petals then just bend your scoobie around on itself and push the strings through the beginning loop doing that for as many times as you need petals. you will probably need to incorporate some new strings into it *unless the original ones are very long!*.

Another way is to make 5 or 6 separate petals and tie them together. make a brick scoobie for this to give the petals a pointed shape.
