there could be many reasons for this, from not enough hard drive space, to a firewall not allowing it, or you may have a problem with fat 32 file. for starter you need to go in to program files and remove the whole file of the game, then restart and thern reload, but before reloading turn off a firewall if you have one. this normally works for me, but sometimes it can be a file called fat 32 which doesnt allow you to go further and for this you may need to chat to you pc /laptop tech line to help.
^huh what is fleckyboy talking about!!

yes it could be not enough space on your hard drive, but you would have windows warning you you were running out of space, so you'd know!

Very unlikely to be a firewall stopping a game from running!

Fat32 is not a file.. it's the file system that your drive could be formatted in!!

check you have the latest drivers for your graphics card installed, you should be able to get those from the computer manufactures web site

and check you have the latest version of dirext x installed from here

try again and if it still doesn't work post back with more details, like what version of windows and what game
^^ that there link didn't work for direct x

don't quite understand why this site censors "family id" when it's all one word!
