My dog is really not very well and I am really worried about her. She is 11 now and last week she started to go off her food, not too unusual as she is a fussy eater. But on monday she just layed around all day.wouldnt even look up at you. And not eaten anything. Took her to the vet who said she did have a slight temp. and her back end was sore to touch. so took blood tests. gave her two injection in one antibiotics. The test showed raised white blood cells and antibodies, which showed an infection of some sort.Since then she hasnt eaten, not even fish or fresh chicken. not really drinking much when she does have a drink she drinks a lot.Have given her antibiotics twice a day.but still no better.very lathargic and was sick today but didnt even get up.We have another appointment tomorrow night with the vet.Has anyone else had these symptoms with there bitch.?

Dont forget to take the bones out when it is cooked. Cooking it with the bones will give it more goodness and flavour.
glad to see things are still on the up. a cuddle from me and a woof and wag from cassie
Really pleased to hear that she is on the mend, I've started coming to Answerbank first thing in the evenings to hear how she is getting on! I hope that she carries on making good progress - hugs from me and my three mad dogs.

Hello to everyone this evening. Amber sends her love to you all and your doggies. Well good day today. She ate a little breakfast and a had a tin of Caesers (small tin for little dogs) for her dinner. Infact she sat at the place I put her bowl down tonight when she heard me with the dog bowls. Oh and she is so much more interested in things today. So just have to hope the nodule in her spleen will not come to anything. Have to watch her closely if she should go right down again straight back to vet, could mean she is bleeding internelly I believe. But fingers crossed for now . She has to have stiches out on saturday.Love to you all with many many thanks. xxxxxxx
