Good causes!

Occasionally someone posts a question or answer that is worthy of being given higher visibility, eg. a new charity, recycling idea or something like that.  The item that triggered this was for old Christmas cards - http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Home-and-Garden/ Question86950.html - but it is quite likely this will disappear amongst the hundreds of questions that get posted on this site and ideally it should be read by a wider audience.  Any ideas?  Perhaps a "must read" category!?

All we need to do is wait until the "Search" thingy is improved.  When we are able to search for answers according to the title, the question, the answers and the names (instead of just an inaccurate search of the titles), all you will need to do for the "must read" category is do a search for all answers by bernardo.  The search thingy at the moment is however unreliable because it is not intelligent enough to search properly for the specified phrase.

I also think, smouse, that what you are saying is very valid BUT everyone will think their question shouldn't be missed!

Good point.  Then perhaps a "Charity/Good Causes" section!

Thanks for the suggestion. But we'd rather our users decided themselves what is or isn't a "must-read". Also, the promotion of organistations - no matter how well-intended - is not in the aim of website, which is, at the end of the day, a knowledge exchange.
