My marriage went wrong, it was awful if the truth be known but still i feel a certain sadness for us both and our son, that it went the way it did, along with great relief i felt for it to be over., i know exactly where ray is coming from. When we get married we NEVER think it will go wrong otherwise we wouldnt do it, thats where the sadness lies.
Thanks you few who did understand what I was tring to say, but some people read what they want to see, any divorce is sad, doesn't mean the people have to be sad, just the situation, oh great I am getting divorced yipee lets have a party, what about the kids? never mind the kids I am happy, ffs, even if there are no kids the situation is sad, nobody gets married with the intention of getting divorced do they, so everybody that marries must have dreams and wishes, it goes wrong, thats sad, just my opinion, maybe I am sad for thinking like I do, who gives a monkeys arse. not many on here thats for sure.
Ray I do agree with you. I have been separated 6 yrs, got divorced 4 yrs ago but did feel slightly sad when it finally happened. No kids tho. I still see my ex-husband now n then so he can see mum, they get on well and all is amicable.
Youre right tho, its sad that nice things turn sour and have to end.
Hi weeal,, hope you are well, it is not nice to have to go through something like that is it, you really loved that person, or you would not have married would you, and thats what I was saying, the situation is very sad. what you have is brilliant, you are being very sensible, not many are, I can understand if a bloke is abusive, verbally or physically, I would say get out now, don't wait for the second time, but when good love goes bad, it shatters your dreams and is crap. take care wee one, and look after yourself, xx

There is the regret that the clock cannot be turned back and the mistakes rectified.....but of course-sometimes that will make no difference to the final outcome.
