Can anyone tell me how many answers you have to give before getting one, two, three stars etc next to your name in answerbank?

The person who made the orginal post dishes out the stars. If you notice now, on this reply, you have an option to "rate this reply".

The person who posts the question , is the one who is able
to award stars ; by clicking on the username of the respondents - try it .
