I realise this is not the proper section for posting this question but I am sure one of you will remember it.

My daughter had multiple shapes that were differently coloured, the name I think sounded somthing like machisisistiks.......or something like that.

Do you remember this? Hope so; been driving us mad this morning.

You're not thinking of Sticklebricks are you?
fiddlesticks, were a bunch of sticks similar to two ended knitting needles. You would hold a bunch of them together, points upright and then let them fall onto a table. You had to try and remove them one at a time, without any of the others moving. When one of them moved it was the next person's turn until all the sticks had been removed. The winner was the person who had had the most sticks.

I bet you wish you had never mentioned them!!!!!

Dear Ethel scroll further down your fiddlesticks answer and you will find below the pictures a statement to the fact that fiddlesticks was as I described it (an early 20th century game consisting of sticks) Thank You.
