I got an email there - saying there were 184 pornographic images of naked women on my site. Somebody was able to get them onto my computer - I had to go through a process to get rid of them but they would not go - then the site asked did I want to "bookmark" them. I said yes hoping they would go away. What have I done

hi homer i dont no what you have done but what you should have done is send them to me lol
It sounds like you may have downloaded some spyware by clicking on the link within the email. This type of scam has been around for years now,it fools people into believing they have illegal content on their PC and then tries to get them to download either a virus, spyware or a program they have to pay for to remove the so called illegal content. Try posting your problem in the technology section and one of the knowledgeable people in there should be able to help you out.
by "Bookmarking" you have saved the site your out IE Favourites.

If you are at work, I would suggest deleting it like.....NOW
