enlarging images to poster size

Hi does anyone know where i can get some images I have blown up to poster size. Most printers do not seem to do them big enough. Thanks

There are some online photo printing services that offer large size prints - I use http://icd.internetphotoservices.co.uk/ but there are many more (they offer 30" x 20" prints). But you must make sure that your image is of suitable quality (pixels) or the print may disappoint! Alternatively there are local printing franchises that may have this service.

Try a local high street print shop. Kall-Kwik is one. If you have photos or negatives, they will be able to scan them in and print them to almost any size.

Snappy Snaps which is a high street photo developing franchise will enlarge up to poster size for about 30-40 quid. The image does need to be high resolution - at least 720dpi - for it to look any good. Don't know where in the country you are but there is a small run printers in Sheffield called Pinders who will do up to A1 for about �25-30 - you will pay less the more you get printed. Look for a printers with an Indigo system.
