I'm searching for a song title and also the name of the band that wrote/performed the song. I have very little information to give, except some lyrics and also the genre. I hope that someone will be able to help! Anyway, it is a semi-slow rock song (perhaps a little hint of 80's - or early 90's ) and it includes (or so I believe....) the words "I'm the one who loves you, I'm the one who....." or something along that line. It is not the song "I'm the man who loves you" by Wilcon, neither the song by Johnny Cash.
Hold on little girl
Show me what he's done to you
Stand up little girl
A broken heart can't be that bad
When it's through, it's through
Fate will twist the both of you
So come on baby come on over
Let me be the one to show you
I'm the one who wants to be with you
Deep inside I hope you feel it too
Waited on a line of greens and blues
Just to be the next to be with you
Build up your confidence
So you can be on top for once
wake up who cares about
Little boys that talk too much
I've seen it all go down
Your game of love was all rained out
So come on baby, come on over
Let me be the one to hold you
Chorus
Why be alone when we can be together baby
You can make my life worthwhile
And I can make you start to smile
When it's through, it's through
Fate will twist the both of you
So come on baby come on over
Let me be the one to show you
Unfortunately not..... When thinking of the song it has kind of a Smashing Pumpkins-feel ( in the style of Ava Adore) but since Billy Corgan has such a unique voice I do not think that it is a song by Smashing Pumpkins.......
I do not think that it is a Smashing Pumpkins song....the music-style is similar but......I mean, I have every Smashing Pumpkins album and I can't recall ever having heard the song I am thinking of....
Today I heard it again, at the gym, and the chorus say's (I believe) "I'm the one who loves you, I'm the one who left you behind"......
