I have recently purchased a new car radio which allows me to play my mp3 player through it. The problem I have is I don't seem to be able to turn the volume up, even when the volume is turned up fully on the radio and mp3. Sometimes when my hand passes by it the volume increases slightly.Hope somebody can help.

What mp3 player?

Possibly it isn't outputting a very loud sound. And possibly also the radio unit itself doesn't amplify the sound, so it'll be quiet.

This may help: try normalising the tracks on your mp3 player, increasing their volume.

Hopefully that'll make the sound a bit louder for you overall.

Try it on some test tracks to make sure that it doesn't degrade the quality of your music noticeably.
