Any quick way to normalize the volume in a selected bunch of MP3s. Nero will do it when burning a CD (non MP3) but would like to do it when dumping MP3s to my MP3 player. Any way Nero can do it or do I need another util? Thanks Tonto.

This small program will do the job for you; http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/
i found the above program REALLY ******** up my precious collection. Copy a few first to test it!
oops...
Nero 6 has an editting utility that can normalize. I use Sound Forge, but if you have to buy it, it will cost a lot of money. ;)
Potatoman, I recently (probably rather cavalierly) applied Mp3Gain to my entire mp3 collection, of over 4000 tracks. And as far as I'm aware it hasn't adversly affected any of the tracks.

Thanks, will give it a shot (carefully :P ). Suprised Nero doesn't have an easy MP3 normalization, seems you can do it song by song but what a pain. T.
