Try asking at your local vets - they often have a list of places to board animals.

Some dog boarding kennels/catteries take rabbits and other small animals - it is worth giving them a ring. Just make sure that the rabbit is kept well away from the dogs and cats!

i only have a cat i should be fine
thanks!
The vet should know of any local pet sitting services. People will come to your home once or twice a day and look after smaller animals. I do this as a part-time job and I am currently looking after cats, rabbits, hamsters, tortoises and budgies!

where do you live
Are you in Wales, powell? I'll look after bunny if you are.
Good advice above powell11. It would probably be easier and cheaper to see if you can find someone to look after it if you have a movable hutch.
Your nearest citizens advice should be able to tell you of local rabbit clubs. They are always looking for club funds so often do wabbit-sitting.
powell - I live near Southampton. I would be happy to look after your bunny as a favour if you are near to me.

in my question i said somewhere to put my pet rabbit i haven't actualy got a rabbit yet i really want one though but my mum sais where do we put it when we go on holiday...it will stop us from going on holiday and she'll only let me get one if i got a place to put it while we are on holiday.so i was wondering if any of you live near me so you can probably take care of it.
oh and by the way wildwood could you tell me some rabbit clubs and my mum might actually let me get one and then i have a few options which i can pick from when my family is on holiday
Sweetheart, have a word at your local vets' - they will be able to advise about bunny-sitters, then you can tell your Mum that you've researched everything and you can get the wee thing looked after when you go on holiday. Should get you Brownie points with Mum and it's nice to hear of a young person on here who wants to get things sorted properly before getting the pet! Too many people get an animal, without thinking how they're going to look after it, or who will care for it when they go on holiday. Good luck. K x

my mum isn't allowing me to get a rabbit she said who will look after it and feed and stuff like that.
You know powell you need your mums backing on this one...Who will have to pay for your rabbits injections and other vet bills it might need ie..nail and teeth checks also food requirements,it's nice to think that you would like a pet but there are alot of other things that need to be thought about.Good luck but don't be too hard on your mums decision.g.
