I personally think that is completely normal to have guns in the house. Why are so many crazy liberals telling me that is wrong?

Depends on which side of the tracks you're from hun. x
i like guns.
given the choice i think id like to own a Lee Enfield .303
a Mk4 model. theres something about that gun that......
i like guns but were not allowed to own them in the way that some other "free" countries of the world allow.
Did you mean buns?
I think you could own a lee enfield .303 funky moped.

If you're not going to use it then it could be deactivated and it would be simple.

If you want to fire it then we just all need to be sure that we're all safe. So you need to get a firearms certificate and show that you're a responsible person and you've got somewhere safe to use it. Probably a gun club and you might have to keep it there.

It's just that the freedom that most of us have not to be shot by some reckless idiot is greater than the freedom that someone has who likes guns.

The mistake people make is thinking that gun control is somehow there to stop criminals getting guns.

Really it's not, it's to stop reckless idiots shooting up the place or coming home drunk from the pub and shooting their wife/husband/neighbour etc.

Ask Marvin Gaye's familly!

What do the sane liberals say to you about guns?

I'd ignore the mad ones. They can't be trusted.

Trip, Trap, Trip, Trap...
Yeah -those crazy liberals-so much worse than crazy right-wingers.

The important question is what laws would you want to govern your use of that gun? If the law forbids its use, then no problem: you can use it for reaming out your drains.
And you wouldn't need ammunition, of course.
Sane, sensible people who keep guns in their houses, who secure them properly and use them responsibly are no problem.

The problem is the others, and unfortunately they're the ones we see more of.

Sensible, legitimate gun owners don't make good copy, I'm afraid.
