1972: Jimmy Osmond got the Xmas no 1 with Long Haired Lover from Liverpool instead of Solid Gold Easy Action by T-Rex

1980:
St Winifred's School Choir with There's no-one quite like Grandma knocked John Lennon's (Just Like Starting Over) off the no1 slot

1982: Renee & Renata with Save Your Love knocked The Jam's Beat Surrender off the top slot to become Xmas no1

That'll be Renato rather than Renata. You appear to have inadvertently given him a sex-change.
whatever finished second to Mr Blobby that year. You'd have to be disappointed with that really wouldn't you!

Mr Blobby beat Take That.  Talk about the devil and the deep blue sea!!
I must admit to laughing my socks off when Bob The Builder kept Wetwipe off the top spot one Christmas, thereby becoming the first act ever to prevent the ten-legged (as they were then) ballad-strangling collective getting to number one.

Good old Bob's been a bit of a hero of mine ever snce :O)

Don't know about Christmas but one that sticks in my mind is Joe Dolce singing Shaddapa You Face which kept Vienna by Ultravox off the top spot.

An absolute travesty!
