Fake Religion to get wed?

Ok, so my two mates are getting married in churches. So they have to go to church on Sundays and pretend they give a damn about it (which they dont). Whats the point in being a fake to get wed in "gods house" and why do the church put up with it knowing they are fake worshippers??

I'm guilty too. I wanted the work, you know the white dress, good piccies and the service is better in a church.

The vicar who married us knew we were not regular church goers, that he said we did not have to even come to hear the banns being read. As you know you have to go for 3 sundays and we only went to one.
