Okay, a (fictional) snap general election has been called for tomorrow. Polls open at 8am and close at 8 pm.

Please do not vote before 8am - your vote counts though

Who will win

You decide

So come on - if this was real - who would you vote for. Results at 8.30 pm tomorrow!

So we're living in a democracy? Don't make me laugh - what happened to flanker's posts on this thread? Clearly AB Ed is a dyed in the wool red.

Vinny100 is a typical red - unable to see other people's  point of view: I can see that Labour has done some good, but on the balance of it, the Tories are better for this country.

And why on earth should the pits have been kept open when it cost more to mine a ton of coal than it could be sold for?

Vote for Labour,
minimum Wage(still be 2.50 hour under tories)
low mortgages Don't really know what the minium wage would be after 7 years do we?
no black mondays(tories nearly bankrupted  the country) As opposed to the current personal debts of 1 Billion pounds that we owe
if you think labour are sleazy check the tories record(edwina currie screwing the primeminister while he screwed the country) Okay - so ALL politicians are sleazy - no real point here!
Surestart centres opening all over the country. Not sure what this is
THE POLL TAX.(brilliant tory, idea and you were involved mr howard) As opposed to raising Council tax by 60% in 7 years - nothing wrong with that
remember the major citys on fire ,riots etc!! - Wow, not sure where you were living - yes there were a few isolated riots - luckily the riots in leeds last year were a figment of my imagination.
LOW unemployment under new labour!! - yes - true, figures have been manipulated so that we don't show peoeple as unemployed anymore - thankyou for believing the spin
Lowest interest rates for 40 years!! - can't wait until after the next election when you WILL see interest rates rocket and people's houses being repossessed - and if you think the economy is in good state (and lets face it, labour did inherit a good economy) I suggest you read some sensible publications

contd.

Lost my thread now d@mn.

Okay how about

!) No Tuition Fees - unless we get reelected

2) No increase in Income Tax - we didn't say anything about NI contributions

3) Iraq - do we need another debate about this

4) Hutton / WMDs etc - yes it is worth saying twice - BLAIR LIED - FACT!

5) All of Tony's Cronies - a minister for Children who would prefer to shush things up and then smear any person who accuses her

6) The Millenium Dome

7) The spin - and possibly worse - people seem to beleive it

8) Kids aren't doing well at school - well lets just lower the goalposts - I recently interviewed a girl for a secretary job who had an A in GCSE english and couldn't differentiate between they're their and there!

No, I don't think there is a credible alternative, but am not sure that we should just let him get away with murder (literally).

Look at the Red Cap enquiry yesterday - noone's fault that they didn't have the right equipment - amazing

In answer to your question a few answers ago - Yes I am a politician; yes I am active in local elections AND I was a candidate in the General Election in 2001.

We are not supposed to give out too much personal information in this website, so I will merely hint at the fact that my party had 15 candidates and we got 6660 votes between us.

Question Author

Oh my heavans - just worked out which party you are......

Okay - now it makes sense!

My vote goes for Bernardo....and I also have Four (yes count them 4) proxy votes which all go to Bernardo as well....Icecold, Flirty, Cobweb and gerrybaby all handed over their votes for me to cast

I am like barnado - I vote for myself!

Is anyone else going to admit to being a politician at any level? (I'm only a local one mind you)

Bernardo,  I met your founder member once!  'Twas in my youth at Battersea Fun Fair.  We had quite a chat.
