I'm trying to convince my Company to modify a product to cater for the disabled, specifically adult wheelchair users. Can anyone tell me how many are registered in the UK, or point me in the right direction?

I can't find anything more specific or up-to-date than this at the moment, which says that in 2004, there were around 1.2 million wheelchair users in the UK (according to the Department for Health):
