My son has just got home from school quite upset and claiming the PE teacher has hit him. Yes he admits he was playing up in the lesson, he hates PE and we are all free to have our own likes and dislikes, and no he shouldn't have been playing up i agree with all that but the teacher apparently took him off where no one else could see and said he would hit him if he thought it would do any good, my son cheekily replied you would get arrested for that and the teacher said no one would believe him and hit him in the chest with hockey stick. My son has reported it to his form tutor who told deputy head who went for word with PE teacher and PE teacher claims he just tapped him. Deputy head is just cross with my son for messing around in PE, my son is upset, I don't know what to do, obviously first thought is go up o school and hit PE teacher myself but somehow i don't think thats gonna help!! Any advice PLEASE. Final point my son has Aspergers Syndrome and has support at school a lot of the time but didn't in this lesson. No one else witnessed what happened

Hi,
I have just joined as I stumbled on your problem and thought I may be able to help. Firstly I take it your son is at secondry school. I have stated this as during eenage years a problem can be thrown out of proportion. When my son came home from school complaining of being bullied I spoke to other parents to see if this was the case. Unfortunatly it was. It may be worth speaking to other children from the school to establish if this has been ongoing. If your son has been hit by a teacher I will be very suprised if its the first time he/she has done it and also if there has not been a problem with your son. If you are completly sure this has happened as told by your son I would advise going straight to the school governers. I say this becaue teachers stick togther, and the head teacher will avoid bad press. If you write to the governers they have to act on it and interview all parties. If no joy from them, then go straight to your council educational authorities and ofsted. Hope this helps and that things work out for you. Good luck.
