What animal or creature are you frightened of
or dislike? The one I detest I can't bring myself

Earwigs, while staying with my sister in the country I decided to help her by getting the washing off the line, it was absolutely covered in them, I had dreams about them for weeks afterwards. Apart from them I don't think I dislike any living creatures.

I am scared of vultures too! I stood in the vulture house at a local animal park, and it was really daunting!

Otherwise, nothing much terrifies me. I am not keen on cats, they alarm me. You never know what they're thinking!

As humans are animals, I will say my next door neighbour, he scares the hell out of me!!
After that it would definitely be spiders, and large beetles, you know those huge flying ones.

All the usual things that other people are scared of don't bother me at all. The only animal that terrifies me to the point of being phobic is cats, not big cats like lions and tigers, but your normal pet cats. Im embarrased to say I can't even watch cat food ads on the telly!

Snakes, cockroaches, deep sea fish - angler fish, and hatchet fish are pretty gross. And queen termites make me feel nauseous just looking at pictures of them.

I'm absolotely terrified of wasps. I break into a cold sweat if I know there's one in the house somewhere, but funnily enough I'm really fond of bumble bees. When my daughter was very small she liked stroking their little furry bodies with her finger, when they were inside flower-heads in the garden.
And spiders don't bother me in the least - can pick them up no problem.

treading on slugs that the cats have brought in - with your bare feet - and feeling them squelch through your toe-gaps...... yeughhhhhhhhhhhh

My worst nightmare & the only creature that makes me physically sick and trembling is a RAT, I cannot bear to see them not even a picture, to me they are so revolting, I am just scared to death of them.

I hate hate hate hate hate spiders, crabs, lobsters and octopy!

Think 8 legs might be the link, but not sure!

i cant think of many things id like to be in a room with less than... big fat stupid hairy moths and crazy unpredictable darting dragonflies. they both seem to realise youve seen them, know you dont like them, and make a beeline straight for your hair, or neck, or between your eyes or summat, i reckon your fear sends a tractor beam to them!

I'm with tigger and pasta freak - I hate pretty much anything without legs (not including paraplgeics of course) - namely slugs, worms and maggots :-(

Don't dislike any creatures, but I am sure I would be frightened of any large wild or dangerous animal that I happened to come across and simply can't handle large insects, beetles or spiders but am not frightened of them, although the thought of contacting them freaks me out.

moths!!!!! was never scared o them up until i was chased by one around a caravan park wen i was wee, but im ok wi butterflies which is strange, and yes the moth was in the persons hand chasing me.
