as the dollar is next to worthless at the moment, i was thinking of booking a flight to the usa. the flights over however seem very dear, does any one know of a "cheap flight" to the USA (pref hawaii, but would do florida or california) thanks for your answers.

Not sure where you want to fly from in the UK but flyzoom.com seem to be ok. Pretty much a no frills airline from what I can see but it can't hurt to have a look.

Your question is rather vague - where in Florida? Where in California? What time of year?

From Manchester to Hawaii is 2 stops & 23 hours.
M/C - Chicago - Los Angeles - Honolulu - in May it is �612.60 with American Airways.

Orlando you can get charter flights so will probably be cheaper than Miami.

For San Francisco or LA you need dates before you can get prices.
