please help
i was just driving home in my mini one the other day and all of a sudden the speaker on the drivers side in the door stopped working? anyone know what to do apart from go to the garage cos im skint!! x

The wires might have knocked out, sometimes can be caused by opening and closing the window, if you undo the 4 screws and pull out the speaker you can see if there is a wire loose at the back

Could it be the obvious? The speaker 'balance' button on your stereo facia has been knocked/turned to one side only?

wouldnt you lose the rear speaker as well splat?

Actually, re-reading the Q, it is only the speaker in the drivers side door... so I 'could' be right ;o)

she would have to have done a mixture of balance and fade to stop the driver door speaker from working....

i tried using the balance guys and it still wouldnt work but ive just tried it now and its working even though i didnt do owt?

it will probably go again then, probably a loose wire on the speaker

the opening and closing of the doors/windows can cause an already loose wire to dislodge
