i have had sky see, speak and surf for nearly a year and had no problems at all, it was easy to install and has been very reliable, trouble is with isp`s you will always find good and bad reveiws on any sevice due to the volume of people using each one, in the end i just threw caution to the wind and went for it, luckily it has worked out well :-)
why do you need a phone line though? My broadband comes from a transmitter some distance away - can't sky do similar through their dish?
Sky broadband comes down the bt phone line.
Hi Ethel

Yes, understand that. I just wonder why they can't send the signal through the LNB and thus tap a huge potential market. They'd wipe out digital competition, and remove any need for phone charges.
Dunno. I don't have a landline, so save at least 11 a month just for that.

Hurrah!
Hi Whickerman,
It's the return path you need to surf the internet. Sky could sent the download bit through the lnb but you'd then need a satellite uplink for the return feed.
