how can i get my dog to mate with my friends she is in season all he wants to do is lick her she wants him to but he does not seem to be interested

It sounds like you are trying to mate the dogs on her territory, try taking the dogs to neutral or his territory, or see if it would be possible for the dogs to spend the night together, but keep an out that one doesnt pester the other or they may fight.

thank you for reply they are on his territory and they have spent the night together this is the second time the first time was two days ago and she wasn't ready she turned on him twice when he tried to mount her this time she is holding her tail up but he just does not seem to be interested in mounting her he licks her but thats as far as he goes
