Hello all, first off let me start by saying I love this forum.
Secondly my question is, I wish to loose alot of weight.
I want to do it sensibly and healthy. I want to gain lean muscle and strength train.
Problem is I am not sure how to do it. I know the physiology of strength training is important.
I am not certain where to find a good resource to find out the how to's, do's and don't's.
Will someone please guide me through. Much appreciation

Check out http://www.ehow.com/list_1036.html this is a great website. just choose what it is you wish to accomplish from the list, ranging from building lean body mass or training for a marathon in 16 weeks, to increasing your metabolisb and more. I have heard that you don't want to gain muscle first, as this just builds up under the fat (think Gladiator). On one of those makeover shows (yeah, I'm addicted) a lady was really overweight and was instructed to do "cardio", whatever that is, to lose fat around her butt and thighs. BUt check out the likn, I think you'll find it helpful. Cheers!

If you are serious about weight training, come to

basically one of the best training sites on the net.

SadaAesix - you seem quite down on yourself. You've posted a message about your weight and your skin. I would recommend purely getting out and about more. The fresh air / excercise will improve everything for you. Also try to build your self esteem as it does seem very low at the moment. Best of luck!
Yes I agree, going out for long walks is so good for you when you're feeling a bit down. I always feel rejuvenated after a nice long walk, especially when wrapped up warm on these wonderful Autumn days. Chin up Sada.
