I'm not a big fan of soppy stuff either, but I do like this song. When it comes to love ballads, I'd much rather have this kind of gentle, understated song than Whitney, Mariah, Celine or Michael Bolton squawking and shrieking their lungs out - it just seems so much more genuine and heartfelt.
