Hi banjo,
I am trying to learn guitar, But up to yet am not doing very well,
I must say that if you can play that banjo piece on you tube, you must be very good, it certainly wasn't billy playing the melody there, he was strumming very well though, or frailing as you call it, I really like to hear fingerstyle playing, either banjo or guitar,
I bought my guitar afew weeks before Christmas, an acoustic, I am currently bidding on an electric one on e/bay,
I would certainly like to hear something that you played,

Piano (well), and I used to play church organ, foot pedals, open diapasons, the lot. Learning guitar.

Patricia, it's easier than it looks! Plus I have a good teacher.

Logic, are you being taught or are you teaching yourself? As I said I am not that good, see my other post about the boys, he's a brill banjo player!

I have to say that since I've heard the banjo the guitar just doesn't do it for me anymore, the banjo makesraises hairs ont he back of my neck!

Hey Cazz,

When I was at school I so wanted to be able to play the saxaphone never got around to it tho.

People think the banjo is really hard but once you break it down it's all about practise which I assume is the same with any instrument - 15 minutes a day.

This is supposed to be my NY resolution but haven't managed it yet! Mind you I've been poorly - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
