I've just been invited to a party tonight and since I haven't been to one of *them* for absolutely ages, I am definitely going.... woot !!! Only thing is, everyone who goes has to do something.... sing a song, play a musical instrument, read a poem, etc etc... Now, I can't sing or play and find the idea of reading a poem a bit *not me* - anyone got any good ideas what I can do (clean and honest please !). I can't dance or tell jokes either.....

My only real attribute is that I do have a good speaking voice, so I was thinking about reading a short story - say a spooky or thought provoking one - that would only last about 3 minutes or so. What do you think ?

Reading poetry! It's meant to be a party and you all have to do things like that?!! Sounds like a lesson at school!! Stuff it - get rid of that aspect and have a laugh and a drink!! A good old fashioned knees up.
