spiffingly good post, Bazile. And yes, it's remarkable that so many people can see migrants in terms only of problems rather than of opportunities. Somehow the British seem to have no entrepreneurial spirit at all these days and no sense (as their forefathers had when building an empire) that they are equal to anything the world can throw at them. A shame to see Brits so permanently defensive and disgruntled, really. It's the foreigners who are prepared to follow their dreams; the Brits just sit at home and whinge.
Sorry, Lonnie, this is only an indirect response to your oriiginal post; but I think it's true none the less.
No probs jno, and as far as the whinging part goes, yes, I agree, but the blame for that, apart from themselves, is the 'Nanny PC state' that we have become.
Brazile - I was just telling you how it is and what has happened. I did not go into the exploits of the families mentioned as I deemed it unnecessary. They would bring down the area if they were 'Born British' ...but they're not!
THECORBYLOON,
I'm not insisting it is, I gave a few links, and as I said, there are plenty more that say the same thing, take what they say apart if you like, or put a link up that says its not, then I can say its not true.
The evidence is in the Daily Mail link you posted. It says, The most crowded country in Europe, according to the statistics, is Malta.
It lists the top twelve most densely populated European countries and shows Maltas density as 1,274 per square kilometre compared to Englands 387 per square kilometre.
