Georgit, luckily I did not have to endure the worst date scenario :o)

cardboard and Georgit, get a room quick before you get any friskier and my screen steams up.

ICEMANSAV - shame it didn't work out, but at least you had the right idea in the first place. Nice to know there are men out there who are romantic!

My brother was whisked away to Paris for his 21st birthday (not by me, I might add- by his girlfriend!). Nothing remotely romantic has ever happened to me...in fact the most romantic thing would have to be a boyfriend cooking for me..

Right, cardboard, what would you offer me?!

On Valentine's day this year my fella took me out and had booked me in to get my nails done and then later took me to a little Italian restaraunt where he got down on one knee and proposed. As he was acting a bit strange I thought he didn't like the food and wanted to be sick and when he knelt down I said "You don't have to eat it if you don't feel well!" he said "It's bloody nerves!".
cardboard, I reckon 20 quid would cover it.
I once took an ex to Paris for valentines day (I was still seeing her at the time). You've no idea how many brownie points you get for that. As for what I can offer you georgit, how about I buy you a midget to throw rose petals where you walk and carry a chilled pitcher of wine on a silver platter?
No, lobster, I have not yet met the ABCDEFGH (Amazingly Beautiful Charming Delightful Extremely Fabulous Gorgous Hunk) - the nearest I have got so far is c. 12 feet away when he walked past me in the Queen Mother's funeral procession.
My perfect date? Mmmm, difficult but I think I'd have to go with Dec 25th!!!
These days a perfect date is any night without the baby! Honestly, this sounds lame compared to beaches and all that hooey, but the best was exactly when my husband and I had just started dating. We had been talking on the phone early in the a.m. when I spontaneously picked him up at 5 in the morning, we got nicely dressed and drove for 6 hours to a random little city, had a delicious lunch buffet, drove home, rented a movie and fell asleep on eachother. It was so beautifuland spontaneous and I had never felt so right with someone before that. Worst was when I met up with a guy I had met in a party. Got to his place and it was so friggin akward, I got along more with his buddy. We smoked some weed, sat in akward silence, watched some tv then I went home. Good weed, though.
