What are you listening to musicwise right now?

I'm listening to an Ian Brown (I think, lad from the stones I believe) CD that a friend burned for me.

Hm, maybe I dreamt it :/ I would hate to know what goes on in my head!

OK I see. Is it derogatory? Is my musical taste all that bad? Better to try anything once, no? x
Hard to explain China, it's written by Roger Glover ( of Deep Purple and Rainbow ) and tells the story of all the creatures getting ready for the annual Butterfly Ball, with each track ' sung ' by each individual animal , actually sung by famous people including David Coverdale ( Whitesnake and Deep Purple ) Glenn Hughes ( Black Sabbath and Deep Purple ) Ronnie James Dio ( Rainbow and Black Sabbath )
It's not at all heavy, it's more melodic and appealed to the singers for the chance to depart from their normal style.
' Love is all ' is a track that most people will have heard of.
Bet ya wish ya'd never asked now don't ya ? I LOVE it tho, try and get hold of a copy x x x

It's a term of endearment how I use it lee.

peppy - Will see if my mate has it and can burn me a copy (sort of thing he'd have knocking around), sounds very interesting at least!

Legend, I wouldn't, I can't see them remember?!

Yes, I'm quite impressed with the CD. Not actually mad keen on the stone roses but really like this.
Question Author
No. Can't view them anywhere.

Just put the track name with the good video and I'll get my friend to find and burn it for me, he's good at stuff like that.

I've recently been listening to some Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, The Verve and Keane.

Having said that I bought Leona Lewis's album the other day. My taste in music is very eclectic.

Best Question I have seen on here for ages, thank you China !

I am currently listening to Brahms - Violin Concerto (the one where young Nigel Kennedy absolutely blows me away) but before that I was listening to Steve Earle - El Corazon (talk about haunting music) and when the Brahms has finished Lucinda Williams' Car Wheels on a Gravel Road will be hitting the deck !
It has a purpley brown cover Dot, and was released in 1974, so yes, I'm sure you will have sold a copy or 2 !

Give it a try, it's a lovely album, not what you'd expect from the line-up of artists at all, a very refreshing diversion from their usual material. Top talent put to REALLY good use I say x x x
